Originally written in 1989 it has evolved into a sophisticated multi-user system that handles all aspects of trip management with optional in vehicle GPS route management & messaging, live tracking, trip recording and replay. It runs over the web or on company intranets, there’s no desktop software to install.
One off jobs, recurring trips and school routes can be created with full diary based schedules, passengers, drivers, attendants, vehicle, providers, accounts and purchase order details. All routes integrate with web mapping for time, distance and pick-up sequence optimisation. New trips can be quoted, amended, ordered and easily turned into live jobs.
Optimisation is available for Routes and Venues with a sophisticated route planner and optimiser that produces multiple scenarios you can edit, save for later use or replace all current routes to a venue with your new scenario – one click. Full back to school and provider bid sheet functionality is also included.
This optional system can use GPS units for recording routes in vehicles. This GPS data can then be downloaded and imported into the MPS system where it is analysed and plotted on a map. The route can be replayed and full distance, speed and location information is displayed. This can be useful for analysing drivers, mileages and route timings.
